West Hollywood Book Fair through the Ages

The City of West Hollywood is noted for its sense of adventure and creativity to create and sustain a vibrant community. In 2005, they inaugurated the West Hollywood Book Fair. It is held in the fall at the West Hollywood Park and features author presentations, panel discussions, food booths, performance stages, and bookstalls. The Bodhi Tree Bookstore has had a booth at the book fair from the beginning. Bodhi Tree Events Cordinator Jo Carey, Neisha Ghaitis, Phil Thompson and Stan Madson and other staff people participate in planning and staffing the Bodhi Tree Booth at the book fair. Jo Carey has been instrumental in organizing featured events and panels at several of the book fairs.

The West Hollywood Book Fair has grown from a relatively small community book fair into an award winning, nationally acclaimed event.
