General Search Help

  Help that applies to every category keyword search method and advance search method is below.

1. The search is for a match of one or more of the keywords in any order.
2. All keywords separated by a blank are searched for as an AND condition. That is one or more of the keywords may occur in the results.
3. Exact Phrase matching is possible by enclosing the entire input field with double quotes.
4. Case is ignored, so you may type either upper or lower case. All matches are found.
5. Enter at least 3 characters in an input field.
6. Keywords less than 3 characters are removed from the search.
7. Common words are removed from the search, such as, "the," "and" and others.
8. The search does not include the leading word "The" in titles.

   Wildcards

9. There is no wildcard character that can be used inside a keyword.
10. The wildcard character before and after keywords is automatic.

    Miscellaneous

11. Our crystals are not all listed in the online catalog.
    Most crystals are choosen by personal preference upon viewing the crystal.
    Please visit our store to purchase crystals.
12. Our herbs are not listed in the online catalog.
    Please visit our store to purchase herbs.
13. Certain online catalog items or 'field' values are a 'mistake' to be listed.
    We have a large complex database and certain items, publishers (gone out of business or merged), binding codes (test codes), location codes, and more may be displayed unintentionally.
